My Robot, Guddy

Today my Mom was gone all day long. So she left my Dad here to take care of Abby, Zack, and me all by himself. Well lets just say he had his hands full. He doesn't seem to know what he is doing like Mom does. Anyway, I guess it was too much for him so he made this robot to help take care of me. I named him Guddy.

Guddy couldn't stand up very well all by himself, so we let him borrow my Dad's boots. That seemed to help.

I asked Dad if my robot was going to be able to walk or talk. He told me not yet, because he didn't have time to make him a brain. I don't think we will ever get around to that though. I don't think Mom is going to leave us alone with him all day again for a while.

  1. Hey is your robot available to babysit on a long weekend. Brian and I would love to go to Vermont and stay at a B&B, we just have not found a qualified babysitter to take care of the girls. Your posts are hilarious, Brian and I have been laughing out loud reading this one and the sidewalk licking incident, we are in the process of teaching Kay Trace-a-Base. I just don't think our porch is long enough we will have to come practice at your house.

  2. I just want to add that every single time I walk into the living room "Guddy" scares me to death. I keep thinking there's a man in my house. (Kinz... if you ever read this... it would give you a heart attack!!)

  3. LOL! I could totally see myself taking a baseball bat to poor Guddy in the middle of the night.

Yay for mom getting a break! (I'm hoping you got to do something fun on your outing and not something lame like a doctor's appointment or changing the tires or something like that.)

I bet Lila could fit in Guddy's tummy. Now THAT'S a fun robot! :) So cute!

  6. What a fun activity! I'm not sure I could ever be as creative. Your kids are so cute and seem as if they have such fun filled lives.
